All About David Heathfield (Salute & Golden Demon Winner)

Get to know our new Award Winning Designer

David Heathfield, known for his model painting, now our sculptor and designer.

David started with models at just the age of 7 when he entered a Games Workshop to find Subbuteo figures and instead was handed a catalogue. From that moment on he decided that all he would ever want is to be a 'Eavy Metal painter.

He started entering competitions at 16, from then he travelled the world entering and winning them. This got him noticed by 'Eavy Metal studio who offered him a position in Nottingham, where he learnt to sculpt and create not just paint. He became one of their longest serving artists.

After a couple years he moved back to Cardiff and worked part-time as a freelance creative until he found our job advert for a figurine painter. When we realised the strength of his creative talents we knew we had to put them to good use and gave him free range over our design studio. 

In April it will be his 2 year anniversary with the company. We are very lucky to have him and cannot wait for you to see his resin designs and creations.
